A Sisters family business since 2006.
High Desert Synthetics is the AMSOIL dealership of Ossinger's NW Enterprises, owned and operated by Mark Ossinger in Sisters, Oregon. We're an Independent AMSOIL Dealer.
It started at the motocross track.
In 2006 our son was racing competitive motocross, and we were looking for anything that would help his bikes hold up to the abuse. We switched to AMSOIL. His race bikes ran it for multiple seasons without needing a top-end teardown due to wear.
That was enough to convince us. AMSOIL has been the only oil we've used since then, in everything from our daily drivers to the equipment around the property.
Repairs, restorations and old iron.
Through Ossinger's NW Enterprises I also do automotive repair and restoration work, from vintage cars and trucks to Jeeps. My own 1979 Jeep CJ5 just went through an engine reseal and reassembly. That hands-on experience shapes the advice I give. I know what it's like to drain 40-year-old gear oil and try to work out what actually belongs in there.
My day job is real estate. I've been a full-time broker for 40 years and run Central Oregon Realty Group in Sisters. The same values carry over to this business: character, integrity and taking good care of the people I work with.
Supporting local racers.
Racing is where our AMSOIL story started, and we've stayed involved by sponsoring a small motorcycle race team.
Our 1979 Jeep CJ5.
It started as a nut-and-bolt restoration and became an engine reseal and reassembly. With 77,000 original miles and zero rust, it will be for sale once it's back together.
Proudly serving Central Oregon.
